Second that emotion on 9/25/81.....one of my favorite--and I think very underrated--SC>Fires...some flubs in the lyrics by Jerry on Fire, but the Fire itself is one of the hottest on record...and the jam between songs is one of the most inventive and exploratory...

Here's one i'm surprised didn;t make your list, Strat:



This is one of the few versions that's absolutely FLAWLESS...no verbal miscues by jerry in either song...a beautiful transition and a Fire that doesn't let up after a smoking Scarlet, as many "fires" sometimes do. Urge one and all to check it out.

that 9/11/82 Scarlet is indeed perfect.

always loved the Terrapin and Baby Blue from that show as well.
